Principal Notes 3.3.2016
We have reached the end of the 3rd quarter of our school year and I often wonder where the time truly goes. Basketball season has now given way to track practices and; before long, we will be celebrating graduation and the end of the school year! In the meantime; however, we still have a very important final nine weeks of schools. It is imperative for students to remain focused and on-task with their studies…even if they do have a bit of spring fever.
As we look toward the final lap of this school year, I would like to thank the students for the hard work they have accomplished thus far. Since Christmas break, there has been a large decrease in the number of students on the eligibility list. This demonstrates that business is being taken care of in the classroom. Students are also doing a much better job of turning in late homework assignments as evidenced by the low numbers in Eagle Assist. The school becomes a better place when everyone is doing what they are supposed to, when they are supposed to. Meeting and exceeding expectations is a hallmark of Johnson-Brock Public Schools.
If you have a few moments this spring, I encourage you to watch or attend many of the upcoming events our Eagles will be participating in. Track meets, field day, the NHS Induction Ceremony, Speech Night, FBLA State Leadership Conference, FFA State Conference, and spring music concerts are just a small sample of the activities students will be demonstrating their excellence in. It is safe to assume that you will witness the best efforts of all of our Eagle performers!
