Despite all of Johnson-Brock FBLA student's success at state, we were unable to make finals in any of our events against good competition from all over the country. However, I am extremely proud of the hard work, professionalism, and teamwork shown by all competitors. Outside of competitions, many fun times were had and memories made.
After a long bus ride down, we went to Sea World, ate on the famous River Walk, toured the Alamo and other historical places, and made new friends with other competitors from all over Nebraska at Dave and Busters. We were able to cheer on our colleagues from our state at the final Awards Ceremony and see numerous finalists, as well as celebrate a Nebraskan being elected with a rare honor in the National Leadership.
I am grateful for not only these students on the trip, but the hard work from all 55 of the chapter members throughout the year.
Thank you to our wonderful administration, staff, students, and community for their support and we cannot wait to get going again in fall 2019! One year from now we hope to be celebrating some awards in Salt Lake City!
